Nuna USA Stroller GIVEAWAY!!!

As it gets close to baby time, we've been collecting all things baby, gear included. I've been very selective on what I have chosen to buy/use for baby boy. Not that I am an expert because it's my second child, but I have more of an idea of what I want to use this time around. I know what I did use with Scarlett and what I didn't like. What I wished I used and what was a waste of money. Scarlett's been really helpful with helping me fold clothes, pick out old baby toys to pass down to her baby brother and even testing out the new stroller with me. This is the new Nuna Mixx Stroller. This color is basil and I'm loving the versatility, sleek look and color of it. (And by the way, this color is exclusive to Giggle.com) I was really undecided about what kind of stroller to buy. I struggled a lot with which brand to buy. I mean, there are 1000's of options out there! I'm really glad I got the opportunity to have the Nuna Mixx.

I'm obsessed and even ordered the Nuna Pipa carseat to go with it. As you can see by the photos, it can face forward or backwards, the seat recline has thee most options I've ever used with a stroller. Baby can go from sitting straight up to laying back completely and everywhere in between. The under stroller storage is really spacious. No stuffing things under there or struggling to get it out. The large wheels make it so easy to navigate and the ride is smooth. Scarlett tested and approved ;) Also, the sun/rain canopy unzips to fully enclose baby. I'm swooning over it.
Check this stroller out for yourself Here.
And if you like this stylish stroller, you are in luck because I've teamed up with Nuna to give away one of these awesome strollers to one of you for free!!!

A Little Bit Of Love.

This Valentine's Day, I wanted to get Ty something thoughtful & inexpensive.
Valentine's Day is one month away!
We just moved into our 2nd home & are saving for our wedding this June. We don't have a lot of money to be pouring into material gifts. And really, we have everything that we need. I wanted to find something that would be romantic and thoughtful.

Running out of ideas, I was thinking of just bringing him out for dinner. Then, (on cue it seemed), Datevitation contacted me & wanted me to try out one of their love coupon books. I was skeptical of the idea of a coupon book. It seemed cliche. As I looked into their website, I was really impressed to find that their love books were super cute & personalized to each individual couple.
Datevitation is a family business run by the husband-wife team of Alex & Olga Karpman.
(I love that part. How romantic....)
Unlike the pre-packaged ones that you buy in the store, you get to pick the dates & you can customize the text to your liking. Making mine was easy as pie. I made it right on their website. Simple step-by-step instructions and they shipped it out that week in a ready to give box!

I picked dates that I knew Ty would love...
There were literally over 200 creative date ideas to choose from stargazing to sky-diving and even steamy adult-only activities. There are also 60 cover options to give for anything from birthdays to Valentine's Day to just a thoughtful love gift. I'm seeing these love books everywhere now!  I am so excited that I got the chance to make one of these fun little booklets for Ty. Because of the personalization,  I know without a doubt, that he will actually use them.
I put mine in a gift bag with another little gift that I bought him (with the help of Victoria Secret)....perfect Valentine's gift!

Today, Datevitation is giving away a FREE custom love coupon book to one of you!! You will get to personalize your own thoughtful, heartfelt love coupon book.

Home Tour: Scarlett's Room

Everyone has been asking to see photos of our new place.
I've been pretty busy this past week with unpacking, grocery shopping, prepping for company and cleaning.
I had a hefty list of things that I wanted to accomplish. It just wasn't feasible.
Scarlett's room was supposed to have gotten painted the color that she picked, a shade between mint and turquoise, called Sprinkle. This did not happen. Instead, I decorated her room the way it was when we arrived and I have to say, the original room color & wall paper don't look half as bad as I thought. Her room is a collected, vintage/eclectic theme. I love mixing vintage with new pieces.

This is Scarlett's room tour in progress.
(I still plan to add new wallpaper & some color.)

Listed at the bottom, is a Room Resource List of where I found everything.

I LOVE IT!! the curtains are so pretty and i love all the little pieces you added - the pillows, dolls, artwork. everything is coming together so nicely - you're one hard working mama! that silhouette is adorable and looks so much like her - probably my favorite from the shop. i love the vintage floral name prints too.
