Scarlett's 4th Birthday.

Scarlett turned 4 on Monday. I'm not sure how that is even possible. I feel like she was just born not long ago. We celebrated on Sunday with a Horse-Themed party. Scarlett is a horse lover and has been from a young age. The horse obsession hasn't died down since she started loving them. I thought it would be special to throw her a Horsie Party. Her first birthday was a Vintage Carnival (here), her second birthday was a low-key Whimsical Party (here) and her third birthday was a Frozen Bouncy House Party (here).

I found a company that brings Ponies and other barnyard animals to your home. It was really reasonable and it seemed like the perfect idea. I wouldn't have to do much entertaining. Of course the kids were enamored by the ponies and animal demonstration. It turned out to be beautiful weather and everyone, including Scarlett had a great time. I love hosting parties. So the decor and details were nothing but fun for me to do. I put some details on where I got some of the things throughout this post. The cake was from Walmart Bakery and really inexpensive. I just added a toy horse to the top and it turned out pretty cute. All the chalk boards and chalk board signs were from AC Moore or HomeGoods. Most of them I already had. It was relatively easy for me to throw it together. I guess things you love to do come easy. Scarlett said to me today, "Mama, I'm sad that my Horsie Party is over." I'm pretty sure that means she had a blast!
Happy Birthday my little babe!
