Life Lately...

So, life lately....

If we were friends, here's what I'd tell you.
Although last week was probably the busiest week ever, we still managed to take a day and go buy a new vehicle. It was much needed!  So my Ty bought me a new Lincoln MKX. You don't know how excited I am that I can push a button to open the trunk and load groceries when my hands are full! It should be a mandatory feature in all vehicles!
If you were my friend, I would tell you how Scarlett's 1st Birthday went wonderful and that it is going to take quite some time for her to get to all her toys and gifts!
One of Scarlett's presents was a fish. I asked her what she wanted to name him.
And so....his name is....Ticca Ticca.

If we were friends, wedding talk would be happening in large doses lately.  Everything seems to be falling into place and I am enjoying every little detail. Honestly, I am a very private person. You wouldn't assume this because, hello, I share my life on a blog. But it's true. I keep some things for myself.
My wedding is going to be one of them.
So you won't hear me talk a lot about the wedding. But of course I will share photos after!

And I will tell you these few things about it...
1) Our wedding will be simple. Nothing Crazy. I find that simplicity is sometimes more beautiful than extravagant. I want an intimate wedding. I'm hoping for 100 people or less. (although this might not be possible)
2) We went and looked at another wedding venue. I fell in love with the outdoor setting and we booked it right then and there. We will be marrying outside.

We have so many exciting things happening. Everything with Ty's work is going wonderfully! We will be staying in New York for quite awhile longer. We are moving next week to our new place in New York. I booked my honeymoon destination! Ahhhhh!!! And we have quite a few exciting dates booked for the next month or so.  All of this is such wonderful news. And yet, the happiest moment of my entire month so far, was going for a walk with Ty as he pushed Baby Scarlett in her new little convertible. She was so excited! She loved every moment of her bumpy car ride! Her little face and expressions were enough to fill my heart up for quite some time.

I find it utterly amazing how one little girl can bring me so much joy.

If you were my friend, I would ask you about all the wonderful things happening in your life.
Tell me...what wonderful things are happening to you lately?
