5 Days of Frugal: Day 1

I was going through my closet the other day, getting rid of mountains of clothes. I stuffed them into trash bags to donate to the Salvation Army. I came across some items that had cost me a pretty penny. I thought, how many times did I even wear this? And now I'm tossing it out. Waste of money.

Then, I thought, Christmas is right around the corner. Time to start saving for presents. I've got lots of things I want to get my little Baby Scarlett for her first Christmas. So...I decided to give myself a project:  I am going to wear nothing but things purchased from 2nd hand stores or sale items for the next 5 days

Here are some things I found for way less at Second Hand Stores or on clearance. Of course, I love having nice things. I shop A LOT. But let's face it, even if we are doing pretty good, we're still not rich. There are much more important things that I would like to spend or save my money for. I'm not one for buying overpriced things. I have a few genuine pieces that I throw together with lots of things that I find inexpensive. Dressing nice does NOT have to cost a fortune...Even if you only have $20 to spare, you can still find something that fits your style.
